We have formed a formal committee to The Antelope Valley Raceway Committee and we are talking to the City of Palmdale and the County of Los Angeles to try and find a new location to open a track. This website and Message Borad will stay up to keep everyone informed as to what is happening, we also have a "Save LACR" website at www.SaveLACR.org, which will be updated on a regular basis and has a wealth of back ground information on the track it self.

Phoenix, AZ. LACR, The Final Team captured the D7 Team Championship, last weekend, at the ET Finals held in Speedworld. The LACR drag strip recently closed after nearly 43 years of operation. Competing against a dozen west coast tracks the LACR team brought home the hardware one-last-time for Bernie Longjohn. Many of you racers new her as just "Grandma" who worked in the gift shop at LACR, she was a Great Lady and will be missed by all who knew her.
